LoanNow.co.za ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
1. Who we are
LoanNow.co.za is a loan comparison and referral website. We are not a credit provider and do not make lending decisions. We connect visitors with third-party, NCR-registered credit providers.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your first and last name, cellphone number, email address, age, employment status, monthly income bracket, bank-account status, and the loan amount and term you request through our matching form.
- Consent choices: whether you agree to be matched with lenders, and whether you opt in to receive marketing communications.
- Automatic information: standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referral source, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
- To match you with NCR-registered lenders that fit your request and show you relevant loan offers.
- To contact you about your enquiry, and — only if you opt in — to send you loan tips and offers by email and SMS.
- To improve our website and measure the performance of our marketing.
- To track referrals to partner lenders (we may earn a commission when you apply through links on this site).
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share the details you provide only with NCR-registered lenders you choose to be matched with, so they can assess your enquiry. When you click "Apply Now" you are redirected to the lender's own website, where their privacy policy applies. Any additional application details you enter there are provided directly to the lender.
5. Marketing communications
We only send marketing messages if you actively opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to an SMS, or emailing info@loannow.co.za.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for basic site functionality, analytics and affiliate tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
7. Security & retention
Our website is served over SSL/TLS encryption. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we keep it only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law.
8. Your rights under POPIA
