What we do

LoanNow.co.za is a loan comparison and referral service. You tell us what you need; we match your request against a panel of credit providers registered with the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and show you the offers most likely to fit. You choose a lender and apply directly on their website — the credit agreement is between you and them.

We are not a lender. We don't make credit decisions, we don't handle your loan money, and we never charge you a fee.

How we make money — full transparency

When you apply with a lender through a link on our site, that lender may pay us a referral commission. This is the industry-standard model used by comparison sites worldwide, and it has two important properties:

• It never changes your price. The rate and fees you pay are set by the lender within National Credit Act caps — identical whether you arrive via LoanNow or directly.
• It can influence display order. Commercial arrangements may affect how offers are ranked, alongside relevance to your request. We tell you this plainly because you deserve to know.

How we choose lenders

If a lender falls short of these standards, we remove them. If you have a bad experience with any lender listed on LoanNow, tell us — we take it seriously.

Our editorial standards

The guides and tools on this site are written to be genuinely useful, not to sell:

• Figures like interest caps and fees are based on the National Credit Act and its regulations, checked against the National Credit Regulator's published guidance.
• Every guide shows its last-updated date. If you spot something outdated or wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.
• We write in plain language. Borrowing is stressful enough without jargon.

Your privacy

To match you with the right lenders, our form collects your name, contact details and a few basic financial facts (income bracket, employment, the amount you want). How LoanNow makes a difference

Borrowing in South Africa can be confusing and, for many people, stressful. Rates vary widely, some "lenders" are outright scams, and it's easy to sign up for a loan you can't really afford. We built LoanNow to fix three things:

• Save you money — comparing offers side by side helps you spot the cheapest total cost, not just the lowest advertised rate.
• Keep you safe — every lender we list is NCR-registered, and our guides teach you to recognise loan scams and know your rights under the NCA.
